30!

Well I made it to the BIG 3-0 and I am LOVING it so far!! I really thought I would be kind of upset about it on Tuesday, but it was a fantastic day!! :) I had the day off since my babysitter needed to be off that day, which worked out very nicely. :) I woke up around 6 and Jaxx and I just played and napped all morning till it was time to get ready for my hair appointment. We headed to my appt and my Mom came to get Jaxx while I was getting my hair done. After my appointment Mom and I went to OTB to grab a margarita and an appetizer before my birthday dinner that night with my hubby! :) Shortly after leaving Mom we went home and relaxed till we left for dinner later that night at Pappadaux. Dinner was amazing and I enjoyed spending my birthday evening with just my little family! :) I was in bed by 10pm and thoroughly enjoyed my day! :)
The Sunday before my birthday my Dad took our whole family out to dinner for my birthday @ BJ's in the Highlands. We had so much fun and as a surprise my sneaky Daddy had invited my Mom to join us for my celebration, which really made it perfect! :) I was super confused for a little while when I saw my Mom, but then when I was told my Dad had invited her I was really excited. Not all divorced (and remarried) parents can do this and I am so very glad mine can!! :)
Last night my wonderful In-laws took us to Nagoya for another birthday dinner! :) Yes....I do celebrate my birthday for a full week and have for years and years! I love it this way and get to celebrate with everyone I love! Nagoya is one of my favorite restaurants, so yummy! :) Jaxx really enjoyed watching them make our food with the fire and all...but more then that he really like the way they announced birthdays. haha. Everyone in the place knew who was having a birthday, that is for sure. They bang on this huge drum and yell your name and how old you are turning...which really doesn't need to be said. hahaha. There was a girl celebrating a birthday on our same table, but of course she was celebrating 29...not 30! haha. We really enjoyed ourselves though.
I do have to say that out of all the gifts that I received this year for my birthday...my brother did the best!! Which if you know my brother, that is VERY unusual! Haha. He got me a very much needed HOUR massage at Daireds!! :) Pretty excited about this one!! :) Of course, I loved ALL of my very generous gifts... but this one I do want to remember, just because my sweet little brother did so good! :) Along with the massage I also got money, gift cards and a sewing machine! YAY! Everything I asked for!! :) I can not be more blessed with such a wonderful family!! :)
This weekend I am celebrating with friends!! We are heading to Ft.Worth for dinner then out on the town! :) Can't WAIT!
