Great weekend!

I wish all weekends were like the one we just had! :) Fun, relaxing and spent with fam and friends! :)
We started off the weekend with a belated birthday dinner for me with my Grandparents! :) I picked Campo Verde, because it is SO yummy and Jaxx LOVES the train and all the other stuff to look at in there. If you have never been....it's a site. ha. Christmas lights EVERYWHERE all year long. It's pretty amazing. ha. We had a great dinner and visit with 2 of my favorite people on this earth. Love them SO much!

 

Tanner couldn't make this dinner as he was stuck in traffic coming home from work. He had a choice to either leave early or come in on Saturday....which I would have done the SAME thing. We love having him home with us on the weekends. :)
Saturday morning we woke up I made breakfast and we played for a while. Then we all napped before we started getting ready for our big afternoon at the Stock Show with our friends, The Apolinar's! :) After we were ready we headed out around 1pm. So we get to the shock yards only to be told that the Stock show wasn't in the Stockyards....hmmmm. Anyone else find this strange? haha. So we were completely off track on where we were supposed to be. So we pile back in the car and head to University and Lancaster. ha. WAY off. Anywho, we finally get there and it only took us about an hour to find a parking spot. NOT FUN. Once we finally found one we headed up to meet our friends. The rest was really fun! We saw lots of animals...Jaxx loved it. This was Jaxx's 2nd time at the Stock Show this year so he was familiar with everything. Tanner and I can't remember the last time we went to it. LONG time. It was fun though. Jaxx and his little BFF, Aubrey were too cute! :)

Sunday was a lazy/relaxing day. Jaxx left with his Grandpa around 11am to head to the zoo and visit his Gram at their house for a while. So Mommy and Daddy got a little time to hang out...which was really nice! :) Then once Jaxx got home him and went and did a little grocery shopping (bad idea on Superbowl Sunday, btw) and we had our own little Superbowl party at the house...just the 3 of us! :)
